Student Policies

Athletic Balls/Equipment, Toys Athletics balls/equipment, toys or other personal game paraphernalia are NOT allowed at school. These items will be confiscated and the school is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to these items if they are brought to school grounds.

Cell Phones CCiA Cell Phone Policy: CCiA is a no-phone zone. The use of cell phones, earbuds, and AirPods is not permitted during school hours. Using such devices during restricted hours (7:15 AM - 2:15 PM) will result in the device being confiscated with parent pick-up only (1st Time = 1 Day, 2nd Time = 3 Days, 3+ Times = 5 Days. High school students may use their devices only during lunch. If a student brings a phone or earbuds to CCiA, the phone/earbuds should be turned off and placed in a backpack or purse. Cell phones and/or earbuds should not be visible in students’ hands/ears or clothing. All phones and earbuds should be powered off and out of sight. If there is an emergency, parents should call the school at 980-343-6460. The school is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to these items.

Safety Scanners Safety scanners are used during arrival. All students will be scanned by security prior to entering the building. Students will need to take out their Chromebook prior to walking through the scanner. Any items not permitted at school, such as vapes, will need to be disposed of prior to them walking into the building.

Hoodies & Hats Hoodies and hats are NOT permitted in hallways and common areas (cafeteria, media center, main office).

Late Policy Students will receive disciplinary actions for being late to class. Please support us in making sure your students are on time for school and all classes during the day. Students with more than three tardies will be referred to the administration team.

Agenda Protocol/Hall Passes Students are permitted 2 hall passes per day via our E-Hall Pass system.

Chromebooks Students are issued district provided Chromebooks for instructional purposes. Students are expected to bring these devices to school daily, fully charged, for use in their classes.

Outside Food & Drinks No outside food or drink is permitted in the building during the instructional day. Any food ordered from outside vendors will be left in the main office until the end of the school day.
